Nordstrom to Open at Taubman's Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver

SEATTLE, March 22, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN), a leading fashion specialty retailer announced it has signed a letter of intent with Taubman Centers Inc. (NYSE: TCO) to open a new Nordstrom store at the 1 million-square-foot Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver. Nordstrom will take over space previously occupied by May Company's Lord & Taylor department store. Nordstrom at Cherry Creek will be two levels and approximately 120,000 square feet. The store is tentatively scheduled to open in Fall of 2006. Nordstrom at Cherry Creek will be the retailer's third full-line store in Colorado.
