Nordstrom Appoints Jason Bell as Executive Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer
We're pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Bell to executive vice president, chief supply chain officer, effective immediately. In this role, Bell will add responsibility for transportation to his existing portfolio, extending his accountability for delivering great service, speed, and reliability for customers across Nordstrom’s stores and digital platforms.
Bell has served as senior vice president of supply chain operations since joining Nordstrom in December 2021. In that role, he led critical network, fulfillment and distribution initiatives that strengthened Nordstrom’s supply chain capabilities and positioned the company for long-term growth. Prior to Nordstrom, Bell held senior leadership roles at H-E-B and Target. At Target he oversaw large-scale, multi-site fulfillment operations and played a critical role in building out the company's food supply chain network. At H-E-B, he developed planning and execution capabilities that guided the grocer’s supply chain through the COVID-19 pandemic. Bell began his career after earning a degree in business administration from the University of Central Arkansas.
“Jason is a proven leader with deep operational expertise and a strong track record of building agile, customer-focused teams,” said Alexis DePree, chief operating officer at Nordstrom. “His leadership has already made a meaningful impact on our business, and we’re excited for him to take on this expanded role as we continue to improve how we serve customers.”
As chief supply chain officer, Bell will focus on continuing to advance the company’s supply chain — building a faster, more efficient, and scalable network that supports the company’s growth ambitions for Nordstrom Rack, improves speed to store, and enhances the customer experience.
